Nordics Identity Impact Day 2027 Brings Regional IAM Practitioners to Gothenburg
In many organizations, machine identities now outnumber human users. Europe’s regulatory stack, eIDAS 2.0, NIS2, DORA and the Cyber Resilience Act, is arriving at the same time. And identity teams are being asked to govern AI agents that did not exist when their access model was designed.
KuppingerCole Analysts will hold Nordics Identity Impact Day 2027 in Gothenburg on February 9, a single-day practitioner event built around those questions.
The format is deliberately small. Around 100 participants, practitioner-led sessions, and real-world implementation stories rather than a broad conference program. Gothenburg sits at the geographic heart of Scandinavia, which makes it a practical meeting point for teams across the region.
Six themes run through the day:
• Identity Fabrics. Bringing workforce, customer, partner and machine identities into a single connected ecosystem across complex IT landscapes.
• AI, Identity & Trust. Governing AI agents, securing machine identities, and the governance frameworks that keep AI use accountable.
• Zero Trust Starts with Identity. Continuous authentication, adaptive access controls, identity threat detection and least privilege.
• Digital Identity, Wallets & Verifiable Credentials. How EUDI wallets and verifiable credentials change the way people prove who they are across industries and borders.
• Identity Security in the Age of Non-Human Identities. Service accounts, APIs, bots, AI agents and cryptographic secrets, and what a structured approach to them looks like.
• Meeting Europe’s Identity & Compliance Requirements. Building identity programs that serve both regulatory compliance and long-term digital trust.
Confirmed speakers include Marianne Henriksen, Subject Director at the Norwegian Tax Administration; Jerome Thorstenson, Identity & Access Management Architect at Salling Group A/S; Janne Kuparinen, Principal Architect at SOK; and John Erik Setsaas, Principal Advisor and Founder at Setsaas Trust Advisory.
The day includes interactive sessions, an expo area and networking.
